Disgrifiad:In the history of music pedagogy in Latin America, we detail elements that are compatible, in such a way that in this direct case, the role of women as educators and teachers who prolonged the musical knowledge teaching at home or at home is manifested. This common line that can be evidenced in countries such as Argentina or Chile, also took place in Colombia, where many women performed musical teaching, an example of this is Carmen Vicaría Pinzón, trainer from the Valle del Cauca region who created the academy of musical studies Carmen Vicaría from 1919 to 1975, generating various educational guidelines that enriched the capacities of children in the municipality of Guadalajara de Buga, boosting the activities of that city and promoting spaces of culture and musical appreciation.
