その他の書誌記述:In the present work, a bimodal accompaniment process was developed to promote research skills in eleventh grade students in the area of natural sciences. A mixed methodology design was used and the activities were developed between March and October 2022. With the help of an online survey in Google forms, knowledge of general aspects of scientific writing was evaluated. Likewise, students were given an induction on aspects of format and contents of the sections that make up a scientific article and a talk on the use of open access databases as well as the use of the Google Scholar platform. From the qualitative approach, a collaborative essay writing process was developed based on topics of interest to the participants. The students showed a fair to good level of general knowledge on report writing and implied a learning process and feedback on progress. Therefore, the teacher-student and student-student exchange was fundamental to achieve the students' commitment in report writing. This skill, which is proposed in General Basic Education in the area of natural sciences, is more easily promoted when students are motivated to discover recent scientific findings, which awaken their curiosity and desire to delve deeper into topics that were unknown to them.
