| Omschrijving: | The following article is the result of an exploratory qualitative research that posed the following question: What verbal and visual discursive procedures are common in the informative representation of social demonstrations? This question allowed us to identify the categories of analysis of the informative representation of social demonstrations, particularly in La Nación. We analyzed and interpreted a group of news published between 2003 and 2007 that dealt with the demonstrations against the approval of the Free Trade Agreement with the United States [or The Dominican Republic-Central America Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA-DR)]. |
