From the result of this investigation could be infered that neurosis in women seem to be only an effect of slant from measurement instrument, instead of a characteristic of female gender as it has been outlined at present. It affects psychologic research in at least two aspects: 1. Scientific: starting investigations directed to review all psychologic conceptualization about neurosis; and 2. Ethic: cease ideology from a gender perspective, related to the conceptualization of neurosis. |
