| Descripción: | Amarine algae survey in Bajo Pepito, Isla Mujeres, Quintana Roo, Mexico from February 1997 to January 1998, produced six new algal records for the Mexican Atlantic, 11 for the Yucatan Peninsula, 14 for Quintana Roo State and 32 for Isla Mujeres. The relativelly high number of new records may be caused by methodology because nearly all the previous records were from intertidal zones, whereas this study was carried out in a subtidal zone |
