| Beskrivelse: | This essay analyses the concept of alhijra (emigration) in Islam, with special concentration on the historical context of Prophet Muhammad’s hijra, and its political implications throughout the centuries. Likewise, this essay explains the discussions around al-hijra or emigration from the lands of the kafirun (infidels) to the regions of Islam. Finally, this paper also analyses the various meanings of al-hijra in the Qur’an, as well as their political implications. |
