Myths and Realities of the Use of ICT in Teaching English for Specific Purposes

תיאור:The purpose of this study was to know about the myths and realities of the use of ICT in teaching English for specific purposes at the University of Carabobo (UC) Aragua campus, therefore the hermeneutic method was used which pretends to deepen about the use and importance English teachers from the UC give to the technological tools in their respective classes. According to the findings they use basic technological tools such as Internet and video beam. These are tools that do not require much knowledge to use. They do not use the different technological tools available. Interview technique to four (4) English teachers at the UC Aragua campus was applied, and also the use of participant observation was used. The information provided was interpreted using the triangulation technique, and for its reliability, triangulation was taken.
