| Cur Síos: | The narrative of childhood in Marcos Ramírez (1952) overcomes the ominous origin of picaresque novel. His being misbegotten and the family story of someone who must see his mother with new eyes cause that temporary inaccuracies be neutralized, in order to explain the unruly and mischievous behavior of the child. To this end, the events in the narration of adventures and the recalling process shape in a way that they can show the difficulties and obstacles in the path of maturity Marcos must face before an indifferent, difficult, complex and often unfair world. |
