Scientific production evolution of HBIM concepts and 3D modeling in the management of heritage interventions

Descripción:This publication aims to present a bibliometric, descriptive and retrospective analysis of the scientific production registered in the Elsevier Scopus database, during the period from 2012 to February 2020, around publications whose keywords involve the concepts HBIM, management and model. The work was developed as part of the research project “Management and conservation tools programmed in real estate interventions in Costa Rica”. The results of this analysis were an important input to the activity of searching for information on the phases of execution and closure of real estate intervention projects at the national and international level. A total of 77 publications by 227 different authors from 86 institutions in 18 countries were analyzed. The main authors were identified, as well as the time of publication, the main affiliations and the countries where the greatest scientific production has been carried out with respect to the concepts indicated. Despite the fact that the trend in scientific production is mostly related to architectural design, it was determined that the 3D model is the concept that allows associating the scientific field of information management with that of heritage management.
