Descripción:This article deals with fourteen general pedagogical propositions that, in our opinion, emerge from the Tri Paradigm (PTD) that a group of academics from the Center for General Studies (CEG) of the National University (UNA) of Costa Rica have been working on. These principles are only preliminarily outlined in this article and require further analysis and deepening in the years to come. They are based on what we call the PTD, which was developed in the context of the Rolando García Chair of Humanism, Complexity and Interdisciplinarity, and which has been presented in numerous articles and in a published book, entitled Towards an Epistemology of the New. , this pedagogical proposal is also based on a critical view of the evolution of the main schools of thought and research in this regard, although it is recognized that it is in line with some of them, especially with the Piagetian constructivism, and the propositions of the great pedagogue Paulo Freire. The principles presented here are conceived as pedagogical mediations between the aforementioned PTD and regular classroom work, and as university teachers and students. All these 14 pedagogical principles aim to stimulate, from a methodological-practical point of view, the increasing protagonist participation of learners in the teaching-learning process At the same time, all of them converge towards the same essential objective, which is the autonomous development of students to expand their ability to think critically about their own internal reality and the surrounding world. This ability to exercise critical thinking stems from the combined development of seven indispensable attributes (closely associated with the 14 pedagogical principles discussed in the conclusions of this article: integrity, objectivity, empathy, rationality.
