Both learners and professors are exposed to the Internet daily, so they can take advantage of it to teach and learn a foreign language. For this reason, it has become necessary to find ways to blend technology with language instruction. This paper presents the findings of a study carried out with students who have been exposed to the use of Facebook in their English courses. It emphasizes the ways Facebook can be used as a means to promote learners’ autonomy, and summarizes the results of the implementation of this experience. |
