实物特征:This study investigated the ability of the phospholipase A2 (PLA2) inhibitor Varespladib (LY315920) and its oral prodrug, methyl-Varespladib (LY333013), to abrogate or delay the lethality induced by potent neurotoxic snake venoms in a mouse model. The venoms tested were from Oxyuranus scutellatus, Notechis scutatus, Bungarus multicinctus, and Crotalus durissus terrificus, all known for having potent neurotoxic PLA2s.
