Descripción:This study addresses the learning, motivation, and interest in science by elementary school students, particularly in the areas of astronomy, robotics, and reading. The objectives were to design and implement interactive and multidisciplinary workshops that promote active learning and the development of key competencies, such as critical thinking, teamwork, and the use of educational technologies. The methodology used involved an intervention in the classroom, based on the constructivist model, through practical workshops, such as “Space Challenge” and “Fun Science Approach through Reading”, in which astronomy, robotics, and literature content were integrated. Students’ participation was encouraged through the workshops by engaging them in immersive learning experiences with tools such as EV3 robots, a portable planetarium, and telescopes. As a result, the workshops had a positive impact on the motivation and interest of the students in science. This was evidenced by increased involvement in the activities and the development of problem-solving, cooperation, and communication skills. In addition, integrating technology facilitated the understanding of abstract concepts and enabled greater accessibility to educational resources. In conclusion, this study suggests that implementing innovative and multidisciplinary methodologies is an effective strategy to improve the teaching of science in elementary education, since it promotes both the acquisition of knowledge and the necessary skills for the academic and professional future.
