Descripción:This article reviews the regulations governing of the study plans for Youth and Adult Education of the Costa Rican public education system, within the framework of agreements 06-50-2013 and 12-30-2013, issued by the Costa Rican Higher Council of Education, and the guidelines of the available education modalities. For this end, reference is made to curricular approaches from a socio-juridical analysis that understands the law as a curricular assignment and deprivation system, following a content analysis method. The results of the analysis indicate that, the juridical expression of the education right, far from strengthening, its guarantee consolidates inequalities. These are reflected in the construction of the modular contents, as well as in the representation made of the students.
