Descripción: | Studies on innovation in the business sector have grown significantly due to the importance it has acquired for the achievement of organizational objectives. However, not all organizations have achieved successful results. Understanding the nature of this process comes with knowledge of its essential components, described in scientific literature. The objective of this research is to analyze the conceptual, theoretical and methodological reference on innovation in the business sector based on the co-occurrence of words. In this sense, visualization through maps allows us to describe the behavior in the scientific literature on this topic during the period 2017-2023. For this purpose, bibliometric analysis was used as a quantitative and statistical research technique based on the word co-occurrence analysis indicator. Various computer programs such as Bibexcel, Ucinet, NetDraw and VOSviewer were used to build, analyze and visualize the innovation knowledge maps. The results obtained showed that innovation requires the support of components such as leadership, organizational culture and communication; of the tools of knowledge management, information management and document management and of having the process's own activities such as idea management, project management and monitoring, measurement, analysis and continuous improvement of the process well formed. In this sense, each of these components was essential for the design of a procedure for innovation. |
