Anxiety and self-esteem from the city of Latacunga

Descripción:This research focuses on identifying whether or not there is a relationship between anxiety and self-esteem in adolescents who study in the city of Latacunga. Anxiety and self-esteem are common mental health issues that can affect teens. These two problems are often interrelated and can have a significant impact on young people's daily lives when it becomes overwhelming and persistent, it can develop into a mental health problem affecting their environment. The Beck Anxiety Inventory, BAI (1988) and the Rosenberg self-esteem scale (EAR-1965) with the Spanish adaptation by Atienza, Balaguer, y Moreno, (2000) are used with instruments. Applied to a sample of 310 students. The main finding shows that there is a low correlation between the two variables under study self-steem and anxiety.
