Regarding the materials and methods of this research, it is used the clinical history of the patient during hospitalization it is used with the previous consent of the ethics committee, and the subject it is reviewed using the clinical terms: duodenal fistula, enterocutaneous fistula, octeotride and pediatrics. During the review, it is reported how the management of duodenal fistula remains a challenge, and a potentially life-threatening complication, although nutritional management and conservative management have achieved good results. Duodenal fistula is a pathology of low prevalence in the pediatric age, the diagnosis is based on clinical history and although in the adult population has been described non-surgical management of duodenal fistula. The literature in the pediatric population on this management is scarce and the available data are very heterogeneous, so in our case a conservative management achieved the resolution of the fistula.
