Descripción:This document describes the experience of implementing a teaching strategy to a group of 28 students in the fifth year of their major in Human Nutrition at University of Costa Rica, as part of the class of management and marketing of food and nutrition projects. The overall objective of this strategy is to develop teaching skills in students, implement during the practice a risk management plan as part of the logical framework methodology. The methodology consisted on applying three teaching techniques that correspond to the master class, the lateral thinking development, and case analysis, in two classes. Students were able to develop the matrix of risk management projects, as well as the risk management plan through a participatory process that encourages group feedback, analysis of information and knowledge construction. According to the results of the evaluation, this process is considered favorable in terms of meeting the objectives and the products obtained, as well as the evaluation results by students and teachers at the end of the process. Thus achieving a theoretical and practical learning optimizing face-to-face class time. The application of this teaching strategy in the course is recommended as a methodological basis that will facilitate the development of the subject in question and get the results expected by the students.
