Implementation of the transversal axis “environmental culture” in the courses of the Escuela de Secretariado Profesional majors at the National University (UNA) through an eco-formative approach during 2023

Descripción:The objective of this article is to present the actions that have been carried out at the National University (UNA) to promote the transversal axis implementation of the environmental culture in the majors’ courses of Office Administration and Business Education of the Escuela de Secretariado Profesional (ESP, by its acronym in Spanish) due to the implementation of a redesigned curriculum in 2023. Through qualitative research, it was possible to determine the didactic techniques employed by the academics for the development of environmental topic as well as the response from the students to the initial approach given in the courses of the first semester of 2023. The most used didactic techniques with an eco-formative approach are the analysis and discussion of environmental topics supported by readings, videos, forums, and presentations, as well as the development of environmental ethics in the profession through incorporated initiatives such as the use of recycled materials and paperless offices.
