Descripción: | Rethinking the management of educational organizations, the director, and the leadership he exercises from the paradigm of complexity is the proposal of this essay, since it responds to one of the philosophical axes of Costa Rican Educational Policy. Therefore, the objective aims to generate a space for dialogue on educational management from the paradigm of complexity, with the purpose of reflecting on the educational organization, the director and his leadership.The relevance of the issue is justified in the implementation of disjointed and decontextualized administrative models that have been developed in educational organizations for several decades and the prevailing need for new more inclusive and interconnected spaces, where all areas, populations and processes that are developed internally and externally of the educational center can articulate each other.A bibliographic inquiry is methodologically proposed that allows a reflective interpretation around the paradigm of complexity in relation to the management of educational organizations.Among the final reflections is the positioning of the subject before the process, the director as a leader in the transformation processes, which implies breaks in the pre-established and standardized management methods that make it possible to expand fragmented and simplistic views of the educational organization and on the contrary conceive it as a living entity, complex, dynamic and changing. Likewise, pedagogical and systemic leadership is required on the part of the director adapted to the context, which takes into account the diversity of situations that accompany life and the daily framework of an educational organization. |
