Descripción: | The choice between justice and freedom was the great dilemma of the century twenty. It is manifested in confrontations in each nation-state and in the confrontation between socialist countries that raised the flag of justice and the capitalists that raised the flag of freedom. It must be admitted that the necessary changes in favor of social justice inevitably cause restrictions on freedom for the simple fact that, to achieve justice, it is necessary to dispute wealth and power from those who hold and enjoy them, because unrestricted freedom, especially in economic processes, it produces excesses of accumulation in the hands of some and exploitation of majority sectors. Consequently, a step forward in social justice means a step back in the accumulation process and that provokes the response of its beneficiaries. |
