الوصف:The arrival of the Spanish in what will eventually was called Indies all social, political, economic and cultural life of this continent was overturned. In general, for over three centuries, the communities that inhabited this vast area were forced to be modified, either to submit to the impositions of the settlers, or to face them. In our case, we take as reference Chimila community, representing the non conquered Indians, temporarily located in the mid seventeenth century and the mid eighteenth century. At this time it is shown an increase in military entries by the Spanish, and in contrast, the greater power of resistance of the natives against these assaults, resulting in a socially cultural syncretism that transformed this space.
