Descripción:This paper puts in relation Gordon Matta-Clark’s work with the concept of différance proposed by Jacques Derrida, identifying the Matta-Clarks “cuts” as differential marks that, in an exemplary way, allow to problematize the relationship between art and politics in the contemporary framework. In line with the proposed objects, the method of analysis consists of a critical writing that hybridizes poststructural tendencies with contemporary art theory.
