| Descripción: | A total of 321 specimens of Bombus atratus collected in 17 municipalities of Departamento de Cundinamarca (Colombia) were examined. The pubescence in different parts of the body (thorax and abdominal tergites I to IV) was registered for each specimen. It was confirmend that the most frequent color pattern is black, except for specimens collected in "El Guavio" (Gachalá and Ubalá), where there was a predominance of yellow in addition to the presence of ferrugineus hairs on tergites IV, V and VI. The influence of geographical isolation in relation of the colour patterns is discussed. |
