Descripción:Introduction: This project focuses on the study of community projects financed with funds from partidas específicas in the Municipality of Alajuelita, due to the need to have a management model that considers the needs of the organization and applicable good industry practices. as well as its alignment with current legislation. Objective: The objective of this article is to analyze the current situation of the administration of communal projects managed with a budget of partidas específicas and the desirable good practices of different market standards in the case of the Municipality of Alajuelita, in order to identify gaps in the management process and possible areas of improvement. Methodology: For the development of this research, a qualitative approach was selected according to three categories. These are the diagnosis, current status of the projects financed by specific parties; industry-leading project management standards and the regulatory framework to which the management model must be aligned.
