Descripción:The objective of this article is to understand why climate change is occurring and how it can suddenly shift the state of the Earth’s systems. The development of this document is based on the author’s research and the Environmental Justice course of the Brock University. This course presents the ecofeminist perspective, which argues that the process of reproduction of life has occurred for millions of years without major alteration, but with the process of producing goods that use fossil fuels, carbon monoxide (C02) accumulates rapidly in the atmosphere, which creates the ecosystem crisis. Finally, some perspectives that propose Social Justice to overcome the ecosystem crisis are presented.
