Descripción:Introduction: The objective was to analyze the changes in contraceptive use among women aged 15 to 49 in the regions of Argentina during the periods 2011-2012 and 2019-2020, with particular attention to the group of women aged 15 to 19, and to differentiate the female population by socioeconomic strata. Methodology: In this quantitative study, a comparison was made of the prevalence of contraceptive use among the female population aged 15 to 49 and in the subgroup of adolescents aged 15 to 19 in the regions of Argentina, according to wealth quintiles. Conclusions: It is hypothesized that the increase in contraceptive use is related to the sexual and reproductive health policies implemented in the 21st century, such
