Diğer Bilgiler:The relation between the Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore (1861-1941) and the Argentine writer Victoria Ocampo (1890-1979) has been for years a subject of interest for specialists in the oeuvre of the Bengali Nobel Prize laureate. The book by Victoria Ocampo, Tagore en las barrancas de San Isidro, published in Spanish in 1961 in the journal Sur and reprinted in 1983 by the Sur publishing group, has been translated for the first time into English by Dr. Nilanjana Bhattacharya, professor of comparative literature at Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan, India. Her English translation, published in 2021 by Cambridge Scholars Publishing, also offers an erudite introduction and an up-to-date bibliography.
