Burnout and the journey to work in Mexican high school teachers

Popis:This research aims to determine the impact of commuting perception on the development of burnout syndrome among high school teachers at the Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas in Mexico. To this end, 114 teachers were surveyed using the Maslach Burnout Inventory during November 2023. The methodology included statistical analyses such as Cronbach’s Alpha, data normality test, and Kruskal-Wallis H test were used. The results suggest that perceptions of commuting to work generate burnout in teachers. The study concludes that it is necessary to implement teacher wellbeing programs.
