Descripción:The group of writers published since 2000 in Cuba, under the name Generation Zero, is approached in this work through the context / literature relationship. With this, it is desired to reveal the expression of a position related to literature in the context of crisis that caused the socioeconomic and socio-structural changes that occurred in the country from the 90s. The writer, seen as a product that society generates, creates, in its key stages of socialization, a value system through which it can solve its problems of experience and action. This is legitimized through the social structures created in the 2000s, precisely to rescue the values considered lost due to the crisis. This system, despite causing tensions with the values prescribed for society, manage to take a position on the literary scene.
