Περιγραφή:The purpose of this study was to build a predictive stress model based on self-efficacy, social support and personality among a group of students participating in the ´Access and Effective Support Program for Higher Education (PACE)´. The study included an incidental non-probabilistic sample of 126 first-year university students. A Multiple Linear Regression model was developed based on four questionnaires associated with the aforementioned variables. However, variables with better predictive power of stress included neuroticism, self-efficacy and social support from friends. Based on these findings, these psychological variables may need to be considered more thoroughly before diagnosis, planning and execution of activities for PACE students. There is a need to continue to examine contexts of educationally vulnerable students in order to better visibilize the need for them to attend and complete higher education.
