| Deskribapena: | Introduction: This article advances a genealogical reading of feminist educommunication in Latin America to make visible women’s authorships and practices that articulate communication–education–feminism, contest hegemonic narratives, and orient situated social transformation. Objective: To trace the “first stitches” of a critical cartography of the field: map authorships, projects, and debates; define an operational concept of feminist educommunication; and propose an analytical matrix—narrative, mediation, care, and territory—transferable to teaching and research. Method and Technique: Qualitative study with a feminist research approach. Two axes: genealogy (epistemic justice; conditions of production and invisibilization) and critical cartography (organizing the corpus by authorships, artifacts, and debates). Inclusion criteria: from a situated-knowledge perspective, we focus on diverse women across Latin America whose initiatives articulate communication–education–feminism, have a public trace, and show some use or reception in classrooms or communities. Techniques: documentary and press review, multimodal analysis of materials (media and digital platforms), semi-structured interviews (snowball sampling), and teaching logbooks. Results: (1) Numerous women have decisively shaped the communication/educommunication field despite curricular underrepresentation. (2) Mapped projects are territorially anchored and oriented to justice and substantive equality; they deploy dialogic, collaborative, and care-centered mediations, showing effects on learning processes, repertoires of action, and institutional policies. (3) The proposed matrix enables cross-case comparison beyond medium (film, community radio, platforms) and supports curricular uptake (course design, evaluation of reception).
