Descripción: | The aim of this article is displayed anti communist political attitudes of Costa Ricans in their electoral practices in the Cold War period between 1948 and 1990 as a result of increased political violence and symbolic violence that took place during those years through the press, formal education, speeches and government policies and the religious establishment, among others.Thus the presence of ideological anti communism will see conditioned addition to the above, other subjective and objective factors, such as the syndical union, the ideological politicization, education, cultural development, class consciousness, socioeconomic status, unemployment, police repression, among others. |
