Descripción:The sociological Semiotics and the recognition of the different messages that are framed in the “multimodal” system of the text are theoretically and methodologically applied to the interpretative reading of Horacio Quiroga’s short story. This is discursive reference that masks other lines of reasoning in the literary and artistic production of what is being narrated, going beyond the own stylization of a literature that uses “the strange”, “the weird” and “the surprising” as realities that explain the social relationships between the changing and emerging classes.
