Descrizione:The port of Caldera, located in the Central Pacific Region of Costa Rica, will become, in the short term, one of the main poles of development of the country, which will mean important opportunities for economic development and a greater demand for employment in what we have denominated the Great Puntarenas. Economic growth expectations will promote the development of industrial activities and investments that will locate in the area under study with the implications this process will have on the demand for resources, labor force and development of infrastructure. The increasing levels of economic activity that we project in the Great Puntarenas will promote the creation of industrial parks and, eventually, the development of industrial districts and specialized clusters. The development of the industrial sector in the region will also demand improvements in infrastructure, basic services, and a more skilled labor force.
