Descripción: | This empirical research investigates the non-formal educational practices in the teaching-learning process of English as a foreign language, the frequency of these practices and their impact in 4th year of Compulsory Secondary Education (CSE) students´ marks in English as a foreign language. This study aims to know which educational practices are the best to learn English and how often they should be used to get the best outcome. This research concludes affirming that over 44% of the participants do some out-of-school activities principally they learn English with a private teacher and in an academy with three hours per week on average. However those students who followed a course lodged with native families in an English speaking country get the best school marks in English. |
