Description:The objective of this article is to describe the role of the principals in light of their leadership practices at the three educational levels of Chilean education: kindergarten, primary school and high school from 2015 to 2020. A review based on the proposed topic in question yielded twenty-seven empirically based studies that were systematized and then classified to disclose the findings. Conclusions emphasize the need to advance in the observation of the kindergarten education level stands out, given the fact that empirical evidence shows that it has hardly been addressed.
