City: Constant and Crazy Improvisation of the Crowd. Interpretations in Illustrated Magazines of Buenos Aires, Beginning of the 20th Century

| その他の書誌記述: | This article analyses some of the relationships that have been built between spaces, bodies and emotions in the urban experiences of the early twentieth century in Argentina, especially through particulars narratives that link imaginaries with behaviors, ways of perceiving and sensibilities, as well as in some of the heterogeneous images that are presented to the reader. It focuses on the city of Buenos Aires, its streets, some of the elements of its architecture and the actions of its inhabitants. To reach these clues, we will start from the illustrated magazines, Plus Ultra and El Hogar, due to the characteristics of their content —articles, drawings, photographs—, that allow us to interpret the significant elements of a new spatial and symbolic configuration, the city understood as modern. |
