| Beschreibung: | The Costa Rican newspaper elmundo.cr is mediatically suspected of an ideological position that rejects the Government and the Civic Action Party (PAC), due to its adhesion to the opposite candidate in 2018 presidential elections in Costa Rica.This analysis identified the veritable speech infiltrated into the informations of this newspaper. It also demonstrated that elmundo.cr is presented as an informative alternative in politics, but very far from the basic journalistic principles in order to give way to ideological interests through the legitimacy of a political authority that allows them to disguise themselves as an objective communication medium. This confirms that its editorial line went beyond an electoral moment. |
