Deskribapena:This essay aims to approach the definition of social cartography and summarize application lines of this practice in teaching and educational research. By reading it, it will be possible to recognize background information about social cartography, experiences from academic authors regarding the use of social cartography in areas such as research on social perceptions related to territorial conflicts, natural threats, deforestation, political discourse analysis, as well as education in human rights and education in alternative dispute resolution.
