| Diğer Bilgiler: | The work of Horacio Castellanos Moya is one of the most coherent and sustained narrative projects in Central American literature. In its development, it displays an intense relationship between conspiracy, crime and politics in the scenario of societies crossed by migrations, consequential, in part, with the disasters of war in Central America. Its author, an immigrant, exiled in various countries in Europe, Asia and America, currently a professor at the University of Iowa, can be read as part of the family of what Bourriaud describes, as “radicantes”. In Moronga, whose title, not easy to decipher, will be revealed near the end, he carries out a renewal of the classic thriller that will be fundamental in the closing of the novel: characters from middle class both migrants and citizens eventually linked to the university environment, cross paths with migrants of diverse origins and experiences until they arrive, in a dramatic conclusion, to converge in a criminal plot that compromises institutions of the security of the United States. In the context of the fluid, the unstable, the characters become models in continuous uprooting in such a way that their paths cross different contexts in a permanent exercise of translation. |
