| Opis: | This article refers to methods and styles of autobiographical writing: two “diaries” and a collection of letters written in the context of the Central American wars during the 1980s. The quotation marks are used here to indicate the generic ambiguity of the two texts represented as diaries. Our objective is to illustrate how these writings have been constructed in different scenarios, all marked by the violence of those historical circumstances. |
