Περιγραφή: In the rural farming community of Korinahui, located in the District of Pukara in Lampa Province, Department of Puno, this study examined the relationship between locals’ consultation with agro-climatic and agro-meteorological signs and the growth of agro-biodiversity. For many years, members of the local community have consulted these signs as part their farming practice. During the 2006-2007 agricultural season, farmer Zenón Gomel Mamani served as a case study to see how consultation with these signs affected the variability of the most important Andean crops.
