Descripción:This article describes the way in which the mediation strategies were assessed in terms of the guiding principles of the Pedagogical Project for the Institutionalized Children: Universidad Nacional (UNA) and Patronato Nacional de la Infancia (PANI), which are: interdisciplinarity, pedagogical space, pedagogical intention, game, and flexibility. These strategies were developed by the team of professionals, who worked in all the educational services taught: I and II cycle, Preschool, Special Education, Math, English, Physical Education, Music, Counseling, Arts, and Fine Arts. The information analyzed was gathered from the study of the didactic plannings designed by the professionals of the different areas and their corresponding systematizations, which show that the teachers comprehended the principles of the project and applied them accordingly. As a conclusion, a reflection on the need of pedagogical proposals adapted to the reality and needs of diverse educational populations is provided.
