Descripción:The productive and reproductive dynamics of small Costa Rican farms are analyzed based on gender, and the results are compared with previous studies conducted in Costa Rica. Results were gathered with a qualitative methodology based on in-depth interviews and theoretical references from the fields of Feminist Political Ecology, Feminist Economics, and an intersectional approach to conduct the analysis. The paper includes a discussion on how productive dynamics are different in farms managed by men, by women, and jointly, since the division of rights and responsibilities varies in each type of farm, while reproductive dynamics are very similar in all three types of farms.
