| Opis: | Introduction. Short films are a significant platform for examining migration and the labor experiences of Latin American women. Objective. To analize the care work performed by migrant women in the short film Comadre and to explore the creative process of Nicole Chi, the films screenwriter and director. Discussion. Comadre reveals the collective strategies and support networks that migrant women develop in social and labor contexts to endure the challenges of migration. Conclusions. Comadre promotes reflection on migration, labor and the human relationships that sustain life. |
