Descripción:This article shows the methodological strategy for the design of an academic and professional profile in the Geographical Sciences Career at National University with emphasis on Land Use Planning. The data required for the profile design were collected from questionnaires, interviews, focus groups and workshops with graduates, undergraduates and professors, as well as from institutional, national and international sources as secondary references. The proposed profile will be a vital input in updating the current curriculum, as it shows consistency with the philosophical principles of National University’s mission, vision and professional performance of graduates in Geographical Sciences.
