Description:Cubarral, a municipality in the Department of Meta, stands out for its rich flora and fauna. Youth leadership is key for the development and strengthening of sustainable tourism. This article was carried out under a qualitative approach through the development of a creative workshop with eleventh grade high school students that allowed analyzing the perception of the students regarding the characteristics of leadership and sustainable tourism seeking the development of the municipality. The family was identified as the first leadership scenario, as well as the need to strengthen values as a source that generates youth leadership.
