For this purpose, a search and selection of documents was carried out that allowed establishing the background on the subject from the Anglo-Saxon countries, some European countries and Latin American countries until reaching the national level. Next, digital literacy, skills and competencies (including digital) are defined, to end with the teaching role and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) as part of the central axis of this inquiry; since it can be concluded that education plays an arduous role and therefore the teaching role, as the one in charge of planning and executing the actions that form an integral, critical and competent citizen in the different areas of knowledge. This is why it is important to know about the subject and to propose contextualized reference requirements that, in parallel, promote teacher training in order to achieve the common objectives of the country and the region in the labor market. |
