Omschrijving:The Radio Magazine Biblio 93-94 was born as an educational radio strategy aimed at students of the two Library Science degree programs offered by the Universidad Estatal a Distancia (UNED) of Costa Rica. This project was conceived as a space for exchange between students and professionals in Library Science, facilitating access to relevant information about the discipline and its geographic context, thanks to the use of specialized yet accessible language for the public. The purpose of this article is to systematize the experience of building and developing this project, whose main objective is to make visible the professional work in Library Science in Costa Rica, as well as to highlight the social outreach of libraries, supported by interdisciplinary links with communication specialists and the promotion of collaboration between professionals and students in the field. Special emphasis is placed on student participation within the framework of university outreach. The article compiles the project’s experience, stages, and trends from its creation in 2013 to 2023, with the aim of showing its evolution from an academic initiative to becoming a collaborative space for knowledge exchange and the strengthening of information literacy skills in the field of Library Science.
